What is Black Mango Studio?
Black Mango Studio is an online AI portrait studio founded by Justin Meng. Start with your own photos to create professional headshots, family portraits, graduation pictures, couple portraits and photographs with pets.
How much does an AI portrait cost?
Your first photo costs $1.99 (new customers, one credit). After that, one credit is $4.99 and a 3 Pack is $9.99. One credit covers one photo generation, every portrait includes one revision, and if a generation fails the credit is returned automatically. Prices are in USD; there is no subscription.
Can we make a family portrait without a family photo?
Yes. Upload a separate clear photo for each person or pet in your chosen template. The studio uses those individual references to create one imagined group portrait; you do not need an existing group photograph.
How many people can be in one family portrait?
Family and group looks take 2 to 8 people, each from their own photo, and family looks can include pets. Tell the studio who each person is (Grandma, Dad, Sister and so on) so everyone is arranged naturally.
Do I need to register before choosing a look?
No. Browse templates and prepare your photos as a guest. Sign in when you are ready to generate, then use a photo credit or complete Checkout. Prices are in USD; applicable taxes are shown at Checkout.
Can I change my photo after it is generated?
Each generated portrait includes one revision. Describe the changes you want, then download the versions you want to keep from My Studio. Portrait access is available for 30 days.
Are the examples real customer photographs?
The template examples are AI-created studio illustrations, not customer results. Your own reference photos guide the people or pets in your portrait. An AI portrait is an imagined image, not evidence that a gathering or event happened.
